I have been writing stories since I was 16 years old. Not children's stories, but stories for
fun that weren't part of my homework! They didn't really fall in to any genre...but they got me to thinking.
My college major was English, and I wrote more stories, but without focus. I had children and guess what? I suddenly
had focus!
Buying those books, with beautifully illustrated covers was heaven.
I didn't drink or smoke, so books became my vice. Or more like, the bookstore. I picked up some books on writing
specifically for children. I signed up and stuided under the Institute of Children's Literature. I wrote and
I wrote some more.
I now have over 200 satisfied clients. My work includes picture books, leveled readers,
kid's blogs, kid's newsletters, chapter books and articles. I write for myself, but more often as a ghostwriter.
That means you won't see my name on it, even if I wrote it.
I also write stuff that isn't for children.

I live in Freeland, Michigan. I was born and raised
here, lived all over the US for a few years and then moved back "home". When I'm not busy writing, I'm
usually taxiing kids to cub scouts, little league, football, soccer & swimming.
